Our Church Building Project

In June 2019, New Life Shetland 2019 embarked on a journey to take ownership of the Old Science block of the former Anderson High School which completed in July 2023. The church had been looking for a premises to use as a place of worship and community hub. The building forms part of the Knab masterplan project which will be developed over the next 10 years. The development will provide new housing with green and community space. We are currently working through a full refit of the premises which includes, stripping the building out, rewiring the building, providing suitable plumbing and heating for the space, redecoration, adding a sound system, developing and designing the cafe area engineering and installing sound and media equipment and developing a high quality space for youth & kids including soft play. We aim to complete this project in 2024
