WHERE WE ARE
New Life is in the heart of Lerwick with Lerwick in our heart. We have recently taken ownership of a new building and are in the process of renovating this to become our new home. In the meantime we continue to hold our regular services in the Sandveien Neighbourhood Centre. We have people attend the church from all over Shetland. As Lerwick is a popular tourist destination, we regularly have visitors from other places too. Whether from near or far, you will receive a warm welcome. The church is not exclusive to regular attenders. We welcome people from all backgrounds, whether looking for somewhere to worship or even if you're just curious to see what we are about. There's no dress code and we try to make the atmosphere relaxed. Our services will have live music, once a month we share communion and someone talks from the bible and how it applies to everyday life. We believe our message is the best news anyone can hear and that whatever stage you are at in life, once you meet Jesus, you will never be the same again!

WHY WE ARE
Someone once said, 'the church is the only organisation in the world that exists for those not yet part of it.' That is our 'why'. To connect our world to JESUS. We believe that the message of JESUS is the greatest message the world could ever hear. We believe it's what the world needs to hear. From the famous, to those who feel the world has rejected, whatever your questions, the only answer they come back to is JESUS. He is the hope of the world.
