TIM MORRIS

Senior Pastor

Pastor Tim is originally from Australia and came over to the UK as a child with his parents. Following a period back in Australia to study Ministry and Church Leadership, he moved to Shetland in 2020 with his wife Rachel to originally oversee the youth ministry of New Life.

Now our Senior Pastor, Tim became an ordained AoG Minister in May 2024, and is passionate about building the local Church, teaching and exploring the Word of God, and raising and equiping leaders of all generations.

In his spare time he loves sport, music and family days out with Rachel, their children Isaac and Grace, and their dog Obi.

Robert & Rhona Nicolson

Robert and Rhona have both grown up on Shetland, have 2 teenage girls, and live on the island of Trondra. They have been part of New Life Shetland from the beginning. Robert works in the fishing industry and has a keen interest in classic cars. Rhona is our Church Administrator and has no interest in cars, classic or otherwise.

Esther Gakere

Originally from Kenya, Esther has lived in Shetland since 2006 with her husband, Charles. Together they have a daughter and a son. Esther has been a key part of the New Life leadership since April 2018.

Ben Ritchie

Pastor Ben is the Senior Pastor of AoG Central Church in Fraserburgh, Scotland. He has been a key part of our team, serving as a trustee and advisory role within our Senior Leadership since 2023.
